Vote For Democracy (VFD), a Maharashtra citizen platform that promotes free and fair elections, has come out with a rebuttal to the claims made by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadanavis in his article response to Rahul Gandhi's article. Gandhi, in his article published, called that the Maharashtra assembly elections, held in November 2024, "blueprint for rigging democracy".
In February this year, Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on X that the government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, would make India “Naxal-free” by March 2026. Since then, several operations followed, where the government announced that many Naxalites, including some major leaders, were killed. However, many on the ground have alleged that several tribals have also been killed in these encounters.

ठाणे घोडबंदर ते भाईंदर बोगदा आणि उन्नत मार्ग प्रकल्पासाठी काढण्यात आलेल्या निविदा रद्द करत असल्याचे एमएमआरडीएने सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात मान्य केले आहे. या निविदा प्रक्रियेच्या पारदर्शकतेवर सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने प्रश्नचिन्ह उपस्थित केले होते. आता नव्याने निविदा खर्चात ३००० कोटी रुपयांची कपात होणार आहे.
सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने लार्सन अँड टुब्रो (एल अँड टी) या भारतातील प्रमुख अभियांत्रिकी आणि बांधकाम कंपनीच्या याचिकेवर निर्देश देताना निविदा प्रक्रीया पुनश्च राबवण्याचे आदेश दिले आहेत. अन्यथा निविदा प्रक्रीयेला स्थगिती देण्याचा सज्जड दम भरला आहे. पण यावरती मुख्य धारेतील माध्यमात कुठेही चकार चर्चा नाही.
